901: The Projected Man Movie: A scientist out to get revenge for his lack of funding on mice transportation or teleportation, whatever you wanna call it, decides to "project" himself into his boss's dining room but messes up and becomes some sort of creature. Then he starts to kill people. Opening: The crew careens through another wormhole, and after some consideration as to where they're gonna end up this time, they find themselves back on present-day Earth...or rather, above it. They are rejoiced that they can see Ethan Hawk movies again. Host Segment 1: Pearl, Bobo, and Brain Guy are moving into an old castle, a castle which Pearl finds strangely familiar. There's an organ; she plays it expertly, with the SOL folks clapping in baseball park unison. Then, of course, she sends them a movie. Host Segment 2: The 'bots "project" various treasured items of Mike's into some sadly unspecified location, never to return. Host Segment 3: On the SOL, Mike is on the phone trying to get Lembach to stay (it has to do with the movie). In the castle, Pearl discovers a book, an ancient history of her family: She has a feeling she's onto somethign and whateber it is, it isn't good for Mike. Host Segment 4: Crow gets the touch of death and kills Mike - or does he? End: On the SOL, Mike turns down Servo's grant request and okays Crow's poorly-conceived one. This upsets Servo, as you can imagine. In the castle, Pearl exults in her newfound castle; Bobo and Brain Guy march and chant. Stinger: The former girlfriend: "Lembach is staying in London for another few days!" Special Notes: The first airing of this episode had messed up sound. There was a sort of echo in it. It was aired a few months later with the error fixed, but you can still come across the messed up copy among tape traders. |
