706: Laser Blast

Movie: A real dork of a guy goes out into the desert and finds this laser gun that was left by some shell-less turtle aliens. So he goes on a killing spree, the aliens shoot him, and leave. The End.

Opening: Crow and Servo tie up Mike in order to tell him their "Beyond Thunderdome" joke.

Host Segment 1: Dr. Forrester announces that his funding has been cut, and that he can no longer fund the experiments. He says he's going to movie in with mom to "save some scratch." He disconnects the Umbilicus and downloads a movie from the ship's internal memory.

Host Segment 2: Servo gets an annoying robot named Monad (as opposed to Nomad) who corrects all errors. They jokingly throw him out the airlock after he says he will destroy them all.

Host Segment 3: The SoL has hit a field of Star Babies, and one of them needs changing! Mike sends Servo and Crow out there to do the job. They succeed just before the movie sign.

Host Segment 4: The Satellite is heading for a black hole! Gypsy assumes that Mike can handle the situation, but she is corrected when Mike shows up, dressed as the captain of the Enterprise on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He goes through a few... spells before the commercial break.

End: Mike and the bots watch as the Satellite reaches the edge of the universe. There, they can become balls of pure energy (Servo is only 99 44/100 percent pure energy). Meanwhile, in Deep13, Dr. Forrester becomes an old man and is reborn after seeing "The worst movie ever made." The show closes with an, "Ohhh, poopie."

Stinger: The Hippee: "Faaaaaarr Out"

Special Notes: This was the final Comedy Central episode. A few weeks after Sci Fi announced that it would pick up the show, Trace Beaulieu (Dr. Forrester; voice of crow) announced that he would not be returning to the show. The old man at the end of the episode was in fact, Trace's dad, Jack Beaulieu. Though skeptical of what they do, he enjoyed his time on the set.
