104: Women of the Prehistoric Planet

Movie: A spaceship is hijacked by Centaurions, who demand that the ship be crashed at a jillion miles an hour into the nearest planet, which they do. Then some guy comes in a ship at the speed of light and gets there 30 years later and a spider kills people. Then the plot takes a twist and you learn that they crashed into Earth. Duh....

Opening: Joel spends time redecorating so he can give a talk show back on Earth.

Host Segment1: Dr. Forrester and Larry unveil their Flesh Barn, while Joel shows off his toilet paper in a liter bottle.

Host Segment 2: During a "This is Joel's Life" segment, a mysterious satellite shows up outside. Joel being Joel, he brings it inside.

Host Segment 3: The mysterious satellite turns out to be the Isaac Asimov Doomsday Device. Joel then tries to disarm it.

Host Segment 4: When Joel tries to disarm it, it explodes in his and the bots faces, turning them all into Isaac Asimov.

End: The effects of the Doomsday Device wear off and they read letters. They then give the answers to the "Name the Plant Guy" naming contest (see episode 110).

Special Notes: This was actually the last Season 1 episode taped. Why it was given this episode number, instead of being skipped over is unknown. Tom refers to one of the characters as Johnny Longtorso (take a look at 421 to see what it means).  Also, this show features the first speaking roll of Mike Nelson (as the satellite) and also the first episode with a song (Clay and larry's little flesh barn jingle). This is also the first episode in which we see an opening segment between the theme and the movie, however remember...it was filmed after the rest of the episodes.
